Back in 1978, we recycled cans from United Disposal Garbage Service on North Phillips Ave. We kept growing into the 80s when we branched into non-ferrous metals, including aluminum, brass, copper, and stainless steel.

R & T Unit Can Company, formed by (R)on Nedved and (T)om Berndt, went through twists and turns in the business. We pressed forward successfully through business ethics, great customer service, and truly outstanding and faithful customers.

We moved to a new facility at E 39th Street in September of 2011. You can see our fenced-in lot and our green roof to show our commitment to the environment. In December of 2015, Ron bought out Tom.
