Bernardos Metal Recycling

Bernardo's Metal Recycling was officially established in 2020 by Owner and Lead Operator, Anthony Bernardo. He was raised in an old school Italian family in Long Branch, New Jersey, where he learned the value of hard work and pride of workmanship at a very young age. He began working at his father's tattoo parlor, Gene's Body Art World, at the age of 12 . Sadly, his father passed away when he was 15 years old. Later, at age 16, he began working with a family friend, who owned a window cleaning company in Freehold, New Jersey. In his early twenties, after a few years of window cleaning, Anthony started working for a scrap yard in Brick, New Jersey as a laborer, while being a sole provider of his wife and baby twins. He devoted countless hours, worked through blood, sweat, and tears, while gaining experience and invaluable knowledge in the scrap metal industry. The hard work and dedication paid off, and he was promoted to Non Ferrous Supervisor in less than one year. From that point forward, his career catapulted and he followed a path working for a variety of major scrap metal yards, manufacturing factories, and production companies.
