In 1960 the company of Stavros and Dimitris Pantelidis Bros. was founded with the aim of trading and processing ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The love for recycling and the great experience of our father Stavros Pantelidis pushed his sons to be involved in recycling and founded in 1988 in Thessaloniki SIDMETAL SA.

Exports of non-ferrous metal scrap such as aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel (Al-Cu-Br-St.St.) Etc. in steelworks and factories in Europe helped significantly in the development of the company and in 2004 they were transferred to new privately owned facilities in an area of ​​17000 m2, in the industrial area of ​​Neochorouda, very close to the flyover of N. Egnatia.

Significant investments in new equipment for metal processing, experienced staff, continuous efforts for new processing methods in accordance with international standards, participation in international organizations and exhibitions, respect for suppliers and customers, established SIDMETAL in the field of recycling in Greece.

The company's activities include the trade and processing of all ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Processing methods are sorting, batching - packaging, cutting (shredding) and grinding. In addition to scrap metal, the company maintains a warehouse in Athens, where it also trades in brass, copper and aluminum products, but also collects scrap metals, which it sends to Thessaloniki for further processing.

The products of brass - copper - aluminum, ie rods - sheets - pipes - wires, are mainly imported from Europe, based on all international quality standards. These materials are channeled to factories in the Greek market, which produce water supply, heating, decoration, etc.

The company participates in international conferences and exhibitions in order to promote, inform and create new contacts with new markets and partners.
