van Puffelen Metaalrecycling

In 1955 Koos van Puffelen Sr started collecting and trading old metals on the Paxlaan in Delft.

In the 1960s, the yard on Paxlaan became too small and the company moved to its current location on Broekmolenweg in Rijswijk (15,000 m2).  From 1973 the two sons of Koos Sr; Peter and Koos Jr are involved in the company and they work with them on a daily basis.

Around 1980 there was so much demand from suppliers for help with demolition and dismantling work that a separate Demolition Works department was set up. The current company of Puffelen Services BV arose from this department.

In 1995 Koos van Puffelen Sr. reached retirement age and the business was continued by his sons Peter and Koos van Puffelen, now the directors of Van Puffelen Recycling.
