The great-grandfather of the current Steenhuis generation started trading in hides, rags and paper in Scheemda in 1928. In 1938 the company moved to its current location in Winschoten. The company grew steadily and now almost 90 years later and three generations later, the company has grown into a modern company that meets all the strict requirements that are currently set for the industry. For example, the majority of the yard has been provided with a liquid-tight floor and a modern machine and vehicle fleet is used, including scrap shears, three container cars and containers in various sizes. Steenhuis Recycling is therefore able to assist you with the collection and processing of all your waste, both for companies and private individuals.
