Rooms scrap and metal trade GMBH

With the founding of the company Anno Zimmer & Co. OHG in September 1949 , a chapter in the history of disposal began for the Hürth region.

New tasks arise from the core business, the scrap disposal of local energy and transport companies. In 1980 they required the company to be renamed Zimmer Schrott- und Metallhandels GmbH - in the second generation under the management of Hans-Otto Zimmer .

Since 2009, the company has been managed by the third generation, Anno Zimmer . In 2016, Metall-Chemie Holding GmbH, based in Hamburg, takes over the financing of Zimmer Schrott- und Metallhandels GmbH and thus strengthens its activities in metal recycling.
