Located in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein, in Hohenwestedt, AFA Nord GmbH Agrar-Folien treatment recycles around 24,000 tons of used agricultural and packaging foils every year and uses them to produce high-quality regranulates.
In addition to silage films including the associated underlay films, all other agricultural films such as asparagus and dam films can also be processed, provided the films are made of the plastic LDPE (low density polyethylene). The regranulates produced from the old foils are used again, among other things, for the production of new foils.
