The Compost Exchange

At The Compost Exchange we offer two ways to easily recycle your food scraps.

Curbside composting - we come to you - Each week we stop by your home and pick up your food scraps.

Drop off composting - you come to us - our drop off booths are located at several farmers' markets and Whole Foods Markets in the Columbus, Ohio area. All are open year round. Our mission is to make it easy, convenient, and affordable for you to recycle the food scraps generated at your home.

Vision Statement :

First and foremost to be at the forefront in the effort to educate Columbus residents about the many benefits composting can provide them individually and collectively. At the same time, we will make every effort to keep driving down the service cost so that everyone can afford our services - at one of our drop off booths where you come to us OR at your curb - where we come to you. Either way, our ultimate goal is to collect and recycle the food scraps generated by every Columbus resident, turning this locally generated natural resource into nutrient rich compost and specialty soils.
