The Multi-Tri Environment sorting center is very pleased to offer a brand new service for the recycling of dry materials in Val-d'Or. The recovery and recycling of materials, such as wood, cardboard and plastic is the driving force behind each of our operations.
Concretely, we sort the materials we receive and we send them to places where they will be reused. For example, old asphalt shingles are sent to an asphalt plant, sheet metal is sent to a foundry in Montreal, etc.
Recovering these invaluable resources for future generations makes it possible to avoid both excessive use of our raw materials and the burial of a very large quantity of materials that are still usable.
