North County Recycling

3360 La Cruz Way, Paso Robles, California, United States

We are a locally owned business dedicated to promoting the quality of life enjoyed here on the Central Coast.

North County Recycling was established in 2004 in response to the need for a construction and demolition recycling facility in north San Luis Obispo County. North County Recycling is also permitted to accept commingled recyclables from curbside recycling programs and green waste. We use the green waste and drywall received at our facility to produce compost and gypsum for sale locally.

Our compost is OMRI listed and appropriate for organic farming. Our feedstock comes only from north S.L.O. County, primarily from residential green waste and a small portion from wineries. We do not import any feedstock from other areas, avoiding any potential exposure to infestations. We have many repeat customers including vineyard managers, commercial vegetable farmers, landscapers and homeowners.

The wood waste collected at North County Recycling is ground for landscaping material when appropriate or used as fuel for waste-to-energy facilities. We make an effort to stay informed about advances in the recycling industry and to implement new technologies whenever appropriate.
