Camrose Auto Wreckers Ltd.

Camrose Auto Wrecking was incorporated in December of 1962 on a half acre parcel of land in downtown Camrose by Elvin and Carol Rude. By 1977, business growth demanded a larger land area so the business was moved to the Northern outskirts of the city on a three acre parcel of land which included a 3 bay shop.

 My apprenticeship started soon after I learned t walk, helping my father and gaining valuable experience as I grew up. In 1982, I came back to Camrose Auto Wreckers to work for my father until 1992 when I became the sole owner of the business whi9le dad stayed on to help and advised me until he passed away in 2000.

I’m happy that dad was around long enough to witness and take pride in our final move to the south side of Camrose. A new, purpose-designed 8,000sq. ft. shop  plus 1,200sq. ft.  of showroom / sales counter was built and equipped to better serve our clientele. We added a state-of-the-art computerized inventory system to speed up our customer service.

In order to process our 1,000 or so stock of vehicles, we have 6 employees ranging from qualified/experienced counter staff to mechanics, Dismantlers and helpers. We specialize in mid-90s to 2004 car and light trucks.

The lynch-pin of out business is satisfied, repeat customers served by a staff that are proud of their reputation and proud to be part of the Camrose auto Wrecking organization.
