Western Auto Wreckers & Towing

Family-owned and operated for more than 45 years, Western Auto Wreckers & Towing has served the Nelson area and the Western Kootenays with responsible auto disposal and used parts for 3 generations. Beginning with father and son Oscar and Clint Scanlon and a converted 1954 Ford 1-ton, Western’s auto wrecker’s area has grown to 14 acres with a large towing fleet and state-of-the-art equipment. Current owners Clint Scanlon and Cory Scanlon also follow their father and grandfather by being connected to the community by supporting local charitable organizations and sponsoring Nelson’s youth soccer and hockey teams.
