Environmental benefits of recycling include conserving energy, reducing air and water pollution, reducing greenhouse gases and conserving natural resources. We offer free towing for junk cars and pick-up service for large quantities of scrap.Recycling one ton of steel scrap saves 642 Kwh of energy, 1.8 barrels of oil, 10.96 million BTU’s of energy and 4 cubic yards of landfill space.  1 ton of metal recycling also conserves 2,500 pounds of iron ore, 1,400 coal and 120 pounds of limestone. Water is also used in great quantity to manufacture many metals.
