Legacy Waste and Recycling is a local waste collection service provider operated out of Elyria, Ohio. Founded in 2016, Legacy Waste was formed on the basis of providing honest, reliable services. Initially, Legacy originated from another company which was started in 2006. Bob Kretschmer understood the need for a fair, local servicer in the Cleveland area. In 2016 Matt Kretschmer jumped in, sharing the same vision as his father.

As partners, both Bob and Matt determined the most efficient ways operationally to provide this service to both business and residential customers. With a combined over thirty years of experience, Legacy is ready to provide you with unbeatable service. We hope to provide you with a service that allows you to forget about the trash, so we can take care of the rest. Our company is prepared to leave our Legacy, while leaving a positive impact on our local environment.
