Taylors Scrapyard and Metal Recycling

Taylor’s Junkyard was founded by Glenn W. Taylor in the mid 1950’s. He bought and sold scrap metals and dealt in car parts. In January of 2006, his Grandson Lloyd Taylor purchased the junkyard and continued the family business. In January 2007 Scott Taylor joined Lloyd to become partners in Taylor’s Junkyard.

The brothers have expanded the business to include two 70 foot truck scales, a roll-off container service, a shredder and a variety of other heavy duty scrap handling equipment. Today, Taylor’s Junkyard serves all of NorthWest Georgia. We are located just outside of Cartersville, GA on Hwy 61. We serve customers all over north Georgia serving both individuals and businesses in the ferrous and non-ferrous realm. They offer competitive prices as well as quick and friendly service.
