Blue Star Recycling LLC is a developer of state-of-the-art asphalt shingle recycling facilities.

Our focus is to help communities be environmentally proactive by converting a valuable resource, asphalt roof tear-offs which is commonly being disposed of in landfills, into what is known in the industry as RAS (Recycled Asphalt Shingles) aggregate.

Our mission is to educate government and commercial entities how this valuable resource can be used in various applications and help reduce dust pollution by up to 80% thus improving the Air Quality Index.

Numerous published scientific studies have ascertained the superior effectiveness and affordability of using RAS over traditional aggregates, such as recycled concrete, sand, and gravel. RAS may be ground and mixed into the gravel used to cover parking lots, rural roads, backfill and many other applications.
