Wilkinson Jim Iron & Metal, Inc.
900 E. Bus. Hwy 83, Texas, United States
The recycling of scrap metals has truly caught on in the last 25 years. People today are more knowledgeable about how they can help reduce the waste (by recycling) in our environment. Also, what's great for the environment is equally important for the economy. By lending a hand, customers are cleaning up the environment and making a profit too.
It's a win-win situation. We are one of many scrap yards in South Texas but we feel it is our duty and obligation in helping to keep our streets and our landfills clean and will continue doing so for many years to come. We look forward to servicing your everyday scrap metal needs.
As a means for Sheffield Wilkinson to get his family out of the Depression and offer a better life for them he ventured into the scrap metal business. This was a period of difficult times in making a living. It was the year of 1932. His sons Westbrook Chula and Herbert took over and expanded the business.
