Standard Iron & Metal Company, LLC is a family owned and operated business founded in 1943. The grand opening in 1951 at our current location included the attendance of officials from the Governor’s office, the Mayor’s office and numerous other dignitaries. The founder’s legacy now extends to the 4th generation, and we have evolved into a full service metal recycling processor incorporating the heavy machinery and equipment required to meet our customer’s needs. We provide solutions in a challenging workplace with responsibility for the safety of our workforce and the community.

We have built a solid reputation for integrity, customer service and knowledge of the industry, whether it is material that you choose to bring to our facility or a commercial/industrial account choosing to take advantage of our convenient container service and fleet of trucks ready to haul your material for you. Not only have we maintained long standing relationships with our customers, but also with numerous companies to whom we can source and sell our processed material. Additionally, we are always seeking new markets which gives us the ability to offer highly competitive pricing to you, our valued customer.

Our scales are calibrated on a regular basis and certified by the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture. Standard Iron works in full compliance with local, state and federal laws. We are long standing members of the Institute of Recycling Industries (ISRI) and the Oklahoma Recyclers Association (ORA) to ensure that we remain current on the latest recycling issues.
