Robert Sanders Waste Systems, Inc., established in Alton in 1936, is the oldest, privately owned, trash disposal service in the region. Sanders is committed to high quality service and is proud to be family owned and operated. Sanders does provide compost and yard waste pickup; these items are not allowed in dumpsters or trash bins. Compost MUST BE put in brown paper compost bags, that can be purchased at Lowes, Home Depot, or many other retailers. All bags of compost MUST also have one of our orange compost stickers attached. These stickers can be purchased at our office. Please contact our office with any additional questions on compost.
