Metro Re-Uz-It Co

Metro Re-Uz-It Co. started in 1982 by Lawrence H. Guren and was solely a waste paper recycling company. In 1993 the company was purchased and incorporated by R. Lee Nantz and Susie Guren Nantz. In 1995 we relocated from Washington, DC (where the new Washington Nationals Baseball Park is now) to 3401 Kenilworth Avenue in Hyattsville, Maryland. At that time we recycled paper and metal. Eventually we sold the paper division and became scrap metal only.

We have grown over the last 15 years and have recently expanded into an adjacent building at 4910 Lawrence Place which is behind the Citco car wash. This has become our new buying facility where the material coming in is purchased and paid for in cash or check (whichever is preferred). We are committed to service and competitive pricing.
