Operation Junk

Operation Junk was started by two friends from Cal State Hayward in 2010 with a passion to remove junk. Matt and Daniel are the two founders and came up with the idea to use a military theme to differentiate themselves from competitors. With so many junk removal companies out there, how did they expect to grow? By focusing on a few aspects in the industry that competitors ignore and treating each customer as if they were family.

Operation Junk is a company of local college students looking to expand their knowledge in the real business world and change the way people look at junk removal. Any company can claim to be 'Green' and being green is important, but we are looking at the big picture. Recycling is a standard process to us and we do not need to gloat it. We focus on other aspects such as top-notch professionalism, customer service, guaranteeing low prices and making sure we surpass the standard image of a junk removal company.

How Our Estimate Process Works

• Call Matt at Operation Junk for a Free No-Obligation on site Estimate! We work everyday but Sunday from 8-5pm rain or shine.
• Matt and Dan arrive at your location both commercial or residential in their patented green and black dump truck. Hello Operation Junk!
• They take a look at your junk that needs to disappear and begin to measure out all the junk to give you an accurate all-inclusive volume estimate.  
• Dan gives you the up front estimate which will never change unless new items are added afterwards. The pricing just varies depending on how much you fill up our truck and how long it takes us to load.
• Price agreed upon? If not we go on our way haggle free. Otherwise we can start the work right away! We will begin loading the truck in a fast but careful manner, stacking items in the truck like the Tetris pros we are. Most jobs take us on average only 30 minutes.
• Once all items are removed and we have cleaned up after ourselves, we accept payment (Cash, check or credit).  We tarp our load and the junk is gone!

• Grand Pianos
• Pressure Treated Wood (Small Mix OK)
• Anything Cemented In-Ground
• Hazardous/Flammables/Liquids

What Operation Junk Does With Your Junk

Operation Junk is on a mission to keep junk out of landfills. Any items we remove that are in re-usable condition will be diverted from the dump. All metal, wood, yard waste, paper, and cardboard items (just to name a few) are recycled instead of junked. We can even recycle items such as appliances and old boxsprings!We don't just pick up your items and go straight to the landfill. It is amazing what some company's take to the dumps. Also, we do not just 'chuck' items into our trucks. Your job does not end when we leave, that is just the first half of the Operation Junk process.
