After 20 years of working for another trash company, Gary Schneider decided to venture out on his own. Shortly after starting a lugger container company, Gary knew he wanted to pursue the residential market. To say his wife Karen was reluctant would be an understatement. She had actually thrown away all the paperwork they needed to get established in the residential market! Yet Gary was determined and prepared a mailing that was slated to hit 8000 households. Karen was petrified and asked God to give her some sort of sign, even a phone call with no-one on the other end. Within 90 seconds the phone rang. A customer number came up on the caller ID, but there was no one on the other end. God had talked to her! And the rest is...well...history!

So why did Gary & Karen Schneider name their new company Grace Hauling? As Karen says, 'We could have called it Gary & Karen Hauling or G&K Hauling, but it's called Grace Hauling because it is by God's grace that we have this company. Residential Trash

Trash Carts/Cans
If you rent our 95-gallon trash carts, you are allowed two carts or one cart plus two of your own cans. Please do not use trash carts for any other purpose. You are responsible to clean your trash carts. We do not replace trash carts simply because they are dirty. We will, however, repair or replace damaged trash carts that are rented from Grace. If you use your own cans, you are allowed up to four cans. We do not dump barrels of any kind or pick up trash laid in piles at your location. All trash must be contained. We are not responsible for repairs or replacement of your own personal cans.

Prohibited Items
We do NOT take tires, batteries, used oil, paint, or any kind of construction debris. Yard waste cannot be mixed with trash; it is a separate service that we provide in certain areas only. Large items, appliances, and carpet are picked up on a scheduled basis ONLY at an additional cost.

Hopper Fee
When you have more than your allotted amount of trash (2 carts or 1 cart plus 2 cans or 4 cans) and we must run the blade to clear the hopper so we can handle the extra trash, a $15 'hopper' charge will be assessed. (The hopper of the truck holds approximately 2.5 yards of material.)

Referrals
For every new customer that comes to Grace Hauling because of your referral, we will credit your account $10.00 for up to five customers. That could be a credit of $50.00! NOTE: The new customer must mention your name when they sign up in order for you to receive credit.

Pick Up Time
Pick up times may change un-expectantly so we advise you to place all containers out at the curb the night before your pick up or by 5:00 AM that day to avoid missing our trucks. If your trash is not out when the truck arrives at your stop, you may request a special pickup. A $25.00 charge will apply.

Billing
You will be billed quarterly IN ADVANCE for your services. Bills are due 10 days after receipt. If a bill is not paid within 45 days, service is placed on stop until payment is received. If a bill is 60 days past due, a $5.00/month finance charge is assessed.

Pricing
Prices for trash pick up range from $13.00 to $17.00 per month. Click here for detailed pricing by city. Prices can vary by area or subdivision due to contracted agreements. Call for an exact quote.

Yard Waste Carts/Cans/Bags/Bundles
If you rent our 95-gallon yard waste carts, you are allowed two carts or one cart plus two of your own cans per week. If you use your own cans, you are allowed up to four cans per week. Cans should not exceed 50 pounds when full. If you use yard waste paper bags, you are allowed up to 10 bags per week. Bags should not exceed 50 pounds when full. If you bundle your yard waste, bundles cannot exceed 4-feet long or 1-foot diameter. You are allowed up to 10 bundles per week. Please call our offices if you will have an excess of yard waste. NOTE: Yard waste must be separate from other trash or recycling. Landfills will not accept yard waste in plastic bags, therefore, we cannot pick up yard waste in plastic bags.

Prohibited Items
We are unable to accept dirt, rock, concrete and branches bigger than 6-inches in diameter.

Yard Waste Programs
With our year-round program, your yard waste will be picked up weekly except for the months of December, January and February. During those three months you must call the office to schedule a pick up. Our 9-month program includes weekly yard waste pick up from March through November only. We also pick up yard waste on a call-in basis for $2 per bag or $5 per can.

Call-in Program
Prices for our call-in program are $2.00 per lawn bag or bundle and $5.00 per cart. The yard waste would be picked up on the normal scheduled day in that area. Please call the office no later than day before pick-up.
