Akrotex, Inc

Akrotex Inc. is a holding company that has four separate and independent companies. First, there is Plastic (Post Industrial) recycling. Second is our Plastic (Construction and Agricultural) lay-flat film and bag business. Third, is our industrial warehousing business which is mainly used for storage and distribution of plastics and rubber products, and last, our Trucking /Logistics business. Although the Akrotex name is the description of each, Akrotex Warehousing Inc., Akrotex Trucking Inc., Akrotex Films Inc., and Akrotex Extrusion and Recycling Inc., each company operates independently and services its own market. Akrotex Inc. is independently owned and has been since 1989. Akrotex companies primarily service plastic and rubber industrial facilities, with one entity (Akrotex Films Inc.) producing a finished product.

Extrusion & Recycling

Akrotex, Extrusion & Recycling, Inc. is located in Orange, Texas and is in the custom compounding and pelletizing business. Akrotex contracts with large industrial companies to purchase and recycle the off spec materials which prevents these materials from going to landfills or having to be reworked by the manufacturer. This recycled product is then either returned to the original producer or sold to the automotive, appliance, furniture, and horticultural markets. Other services include packaging or repackaging of products produced by industry, along with blending and other services requested.At Akrotex Extrusion & Recycling we work to maintain the highest quality control guidelines for all products.

Films

Akrotex Films, Inc. is a quality, low cost producer of polyethylene film sheeting located in Orange. Our product list includes film sheeting, bags, liners, tubing and other related products that are used for construction, industrial, commercial and agricultural applications.At Akrotex Films, Inc., we work to maintain the highest quality-control guidelines for our products.

Warehousing

Akrotex Warehousing, Inc. provides warehousing services for our local industrial community. Our facility provides over half a million square feet for our clients to store their raw materials and finished products.

Trucking

Akrotex Trucking, Inc. provides transportation services for all of Akrotex’s inter company needs including recycling contracts as well as local drayage for our industrial community. Akrotex Trucking Inc. is growing to meet more of the regular transportation needs of the local industry.
