VintageTech LLC

4601 Bath Street , Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States

In 2014 Vintage Tech was acquired by the U.S. subsidiary of the multi-national recycling firm Kuusakoski Recycling. With operations in 12 countries and a history of over 100 years in recycling, Kuusakoski is a world leader in the scrap industry. From the day Kuusakoski first began collecting iron, metal scrap, and textile waste in 1914, the philosophy that drives the company has been one of 'zero waste' -- the idea that every piece of scrap has value. Karrie Gibson, who founded Vintage Tech in 2005, shared this ideology when she built a talented and dedicated staff committed to promoting environmentally safe and cost-efficient means to reuse and recycle obsolete electronics. Today Kuusakoski U.S. and Vintage Tech are lead by Rich Hipp, President and CEO, who not only continues to uphold the standards and traditions set by both companies but also seeks to exceed them, to propel and establish Vintage Tech and Kuusakoski U.S. as leaders in today's ultra-competitive e-scrap market.
