At Paper People, we are all about paper.  Our job is to provide our customers with paper products that exactly suit their needs, at a great price.  At the same time, we find the perfect use for paper that comes through our warehouse.   We believe that paper should be reused before it is recycled.  When it is finally time to recycle, we have that covered.  We buy cardboard and support recycling programs for other companies. Our staff knows paper and we would be happy to help you with your commercial paper needs.

We specialize in production of pallet covers, tie sheets, dust covers, dividers, separator sheets, fruit shims, striker plates, counter rolls, flooring paper, ribbons for corner board or tube winding operations, headers for rolls of paper, and lots of custom sheets for wrapping and packaging. We work closely with Industrial Packing companies, Food Processors and Agricultural Packaging, Cold storage firms, as well as with doing Contract Converting for other converters and companies.Paper and People coming together to solve secondary fiber issues. A closed loop occurs when a recyclable material is used, discarded, captured, and then recycled into a new product (i.e. cardboard). We utilize a closed loop system when we recycle all of the board grades we sell, in addition to office papers and plastics.

Our warehouse is conveniently located to serve the Portland -Vancouver area, with easy access off the main freeways. We offer trans loading and roll stock storage for many of our customers.Transportation is always an issue in today's world. We operate our own tractor-trailer rigs and trailers to service our customers' needs on the converting side and a drop-box truck to haul 40 yard containers from customer sites back to our plant for waste paper processing.Pulp and Paper Equipment is also a little segment of our business. Paper People have many contacts all over the world that have buyers and sellers of various equipment that is used at Paper mills, converting plants, box plants, and recycling centers. We work to find the equipment that our buyers need.

Paper People Services

We offer various services, from contract converting of other customers' paper, handling of damaged rolls to make them usable, dealing with damaged, wet, crushed cores, out of round, and transitional tons. We can re-work your damaged rolls and make them more valuable. We have the ability to Kraft wrap rolls and provide caps and headers.We can provide extra labor to repack or restack various mill product.

Paper People also offers warehousing of role stock and baled wastepaper, with computerized inventory tracking, monthly storage, cross dock trans-loading and trucking of material. Inspection service included also.Paper People brokers roll stock and waste paper. We have relationships on the West Coast, Far East, Australia and New Zealand. Paper is a renewable resource! We buy and offer recycled roll stock whenever we can, because it is the right thing to do. We give new life to paper and offer it to you at a savings over new material. Then, we buy the used material from you and start the cycle again.

We have equipment to handle your needs - from baler, trailers, bins, dropboxes, and dependable staff to pick up the material that’s generated.Fundraisers are a great way to get extra money with a newspaper drive. We can set up regular pickup or a onetime paper drive.We don’t stop at paper. With our focus to save customers' money, we buy job lots, transit damage, end rolls whenever possible, which can typically be priced at least 10% below primary market levels. With our extensive network of industry relationships, Paper People can offer a wider selection, at more competitive pricing, than you receive from your current supplier.

Sheets

Paper People specializes in industrial paper grades in the manufacture of its pallet covers, dividers, striker plates, tie sheets, separator sheets, counter rolls, dust covers, fruit shims, flooring paper, ribbons for corner board or tube winding operations, headers for rolls of paper, and lots of custom sized sheets for wrapping and packaging.

Roll Stock

Most of our inventory is comprised of continuously sourced, recycled products. These rolls may be mill rejects, job lots, transit damage, end rolls. Because we evaluate roll conditions upon receipt, we use our manufacturing capabilities to reduce this inventory to usable product that is available to our customers at significant savings over mill-direct product..

 Trim

We are often asked to reduce finished sheets to alternate sizes. We have the ability to trim sheets to a minimum of just 1/8' and sheet lengths up to 88'. Sheets may also be modified with corner cuts.

Our Location

In addition to having a drop-box truck that hauls our 40 yard containers from our customers back to our plant to process their wastepaper, our warehouse is conveniently located to serve Portland -Vancouver area with easy access off the main freeways (I205 and I5). We offer trans loading and warehouse storage for many of our customers.
