Message from the President

I started Residue Recycling – a postindustrial thermoplastic recycling operation – in the early 90’s. Since then, we have persevered through various market downturns and recessions and I often asked myself, “How are we going to survive this?” Through grit and determination, here we are 25 years later, and not only are we surviving, we are thriving.

• We are a niche business and we cater to specific segments of the plastic manufacturing market, and we service customers in a way unique to their individual characteristics and needs.
• We have adapted our business model to market fluctuations.

I was told by an old mentor that, “Luck is where opportunity and preparation meet.”  Over the years we have grown into a manufacturing organization that is prepared to process and find answers for our customers.  Our core competency is very simple:  We are part of the solution.  Whether it be our technical understanding of processes and products or our commitment to the most reliable service to our customers, Residue Recycling has and will continue to strive for perfection as a toll manufacturing provider.   POLYMER SUSTAINABILITY is our motto.  Serving our customers  is our obligation and duty.

For 25 years we have and continue to be a customer driven company. We service Fortune 500 companies, as well as large and small private companies. Residue recycling provides customers with industrial polymer modification.

• We have two stand-alone plants and redundant equipment at both plants – we won’t shut you down.
• Residue Recycling can grow with you. We have 50 million pounds of capacity. Part of which is excess capacity.
