We have been proudly servicing Maryland since 2006, processing and recycling to make sure your electronics do not reach the landfill. We provide recycling solutions for all computer equipment and other electronic assets. This includes data destruction. We ensure that all data security issues are addressed and all equipment is recycled properly.
M.O.U. Enterprises goal is to transform from a small woman owned business to becoming one of Maryland’s leading recyclers. We are proud to mention we have recently become an R2 certified recycler to Responsibly Recycle for you (R24U). Our operation complies with all Local, State and Federal laws, regulations and requirements. We service businesses of all sizes, government agencies, educational institutions and non profit organizations for all of your computer and electronic recycling needs.
M.O.U. Enterprises cares about the environment and ensures that we will recycle your electronic and computer scrap in the most efficient, safe and environmentally friendly manner. We fully pledge to a “Zero Landfill” policy. We manage all waste streams ensuring that end-of-life materials are processed with a commitment of compliance with all R2 and regulatory environmental requirements, preventing pollution and reducing environmental impact. We filter all E-scrap through our R2 certified warehouse ensuring that your electronics are handled safely and securely. With our R2 certification, customers can have the confidence that all their computer and electronic scrap (E-waste) is being recycled responsibly.
What We Do?
M.O.U. Enterprises, Inc. is a R2 certified woman owned electronic recycling and data destruction company proudly serving MD, VA, DC and surrounding areas since 2006. Our top 3 managers have an excess of over 35 years of experience. We are If you are asking yourself what does R2 Certified mean, The R2 standard is supported by the EPA for electronic recyclers. We have an internationally approved environmental, health and safety management system verified by a third party auditor. As a certified recycler we undergo annual audits by a certification entity to ensure that the electronics we receive are processed in a manner that protects public health and safety to the environment.
Our Goal
Our Goal is to provide you with innovative e-waste management and recycling services for the disposal of electronic equipment. By using our services, you will contribute to the protection of the environment through recycling practices which demonstrate social responsibility and environmental stewardship. All of our downstream recycling affiliates have been approved so that we can trace each component to its ultimate recycling destination. Secure Data Destruction:
Secured data destruction is a part of our recycling services. M.O.U. Enterprises, Inc. understands the importance of protecting our customer’s valuable and proprietary information. In order to insure all data bearing items are unusable and properly destroyed, all data is destroyed with our State of the art DOD and NIST compliant hard drive degausser. Our data destruction process is reviewed and validated by an independent party periodically leaving all of M.O.U. Enterprises customers with a complete peace of mind.
Data Destruction
Secured data destruction is a part of our recycling services. Data security is one of the most important issues for our clients. M.O.U. Enterprises understands the importance of protecting our customer’s valuable and proprietary information. In order to insure all data bearing items are unusable and properly destroyed, all data is destroyed with our State of the art DOD and NIST compliant hard drive degausser. M.O.U Enterprises ensures that any client reference on the assets we receive is completely removed and destroyed. This includes client asset tags and other markings. Our data destruction process is reviewed and validated by an independent party periodically.
Data Degaussing: To degauss a hard drive you need an electric magnetic field. When exposed to the magnet the hard drive will be unusable and will not be recognized by the computer. In fact, the erasure is so deep that the factory written servo tracks on the disk platters are also demagnetized leaving no reference points for the read heads to key in on, leaving all of M.O.U. Enterprises customers with a complete peace of mind.
