Founded in 1956, Pioneer Fibers Incorporated, a Pioneer Industries International Company has been a successful partner in the waste paper industry. We are uniquely positioned as a processing facility as well as offering brokerage services that increase our ability to extensively market all grades of waste paper and roll stock, from repulping to converting material.

Our processing facility is conveniently located in Elk Grove, Illinois a Western suburb of Chicago.Although Pioneer Fibers Incorporated is involved with the marketing of all grades of waste paper, we mainly concentrate in the higher grades, including printing grades, pulp substitutes, forms ledger, envelopes, and carton grades. We accept rolls, bales, gaylords, and skids. Our state of the art single stream system was installed and became operational during the summer of 2013 which allows Batliner the ability to receive and process commingled and mixed loads of recyclables. With just under 200,000 square feet, this facility allows us to become a full-service recycling center. Batliner OKC also boasts the only single stream sort line of its kind in Oklahoma City. The single stream line represents the newest state of the art technology in the single stream arena.

Pioneer Industries International offers secure shredding services in the Minnesota marketplace through Pioneer SecureShred, a division of Pioneer Paper Stock. Pioneer Secure Shred operates both on site and off site shredding, allowing us to meet the specific confidential destruction needs of our customers. Moreover, due to increased demand, Pioneer recently announced a partnership in the Dallas marketplace with Mobile Shred It, a mobile shredding company serving the greater Dallas metropolitan area.

Material / Single Stream Processing

Pioneer Industries International’s wholly owned companies operate recycling processing plants throughout the Midwest. PII’s state of the art facilities provide cost effective solutions to meet your company’s recycling needs. With its fleet of trucks and trailers, PII has the ability to either collect the material and transport back to our plant or receive delivered in material. Once the material arrives at a Pioneer recycling plant, the material is weighed and then sorted via manual and mechanical processes before the material is baled and ready for shipment. With its years of experience, PII has the ability to segregate volume and upgrade material so that we can pay our generators the highest prices for their recyclable commodities.

Secure Shredding

Pioneer SecureShred is a division of Pioneer Paper Stock and offers a range of shredding services and containers to meet each of our clients' needs in the Minnesota market place, including Minneapolis and surrounding areas. We offer Regularly Scheduled Service including daily, weekly and monthly pick-ups as well as 'On-Call' service and one-time File Clean-Outs/Purges. Regardless of the type of service you require or size of your job, Pioneer SecureShred has a shredding solution to meet your need. In addition, a Certificate of Destruction will be issued upon completion of each service and all of your shredded paper will be recycled.

Recycling Audits

The companies of Pioneer Industries International, Inc. have been performing recycling audits for businesses for the past few decades. As part of PII’s services, we will conduct a free comprehensive audit of your waste stream to identify the commodities and products that are both recycled and those that cannot be recycled. After completion of the audit, a sales individual from Pioneer will summarize their findings and provide our customer with recommendations to reduce the amount of material disposed of and convert that volume into the recycling stream. A Pioneer sales representative will sit down with our customer and walk them through the findings and solutions to improve efficiency and maximize revenue. The audit process is effective as it not only focuses on reducing landfill and disposal costs while identifying additional revenue streams, but gives customers the reassurance that they are on the right path in helping to improve the environment. As part of the audit process and as an ongoing service, Pioneer will visit the facilities and review the processes after implementation, to make sure the process is meeting the customer’s expectations.

With a strong balance sheet and banking relationships that surpass thirty years, PII can secure funds at low interest rates to use for both the costs of equipment as well as the installation costs. By allowing Pioneer to finance your recycling equipment, our customers can use their cash flow for other projects. Moreover, PII will tailor a payment plan that is most cost effective and beneficial to our customers. Whether we construct a standard monthly payment amount or utilize the revenue from the recycled products to pay off the note, our finance team will work with you to identify the best solution.
