EFS-plastics Inc. is a post-consumer plastic recycling and reprocessing company, specialized in mixed plastic (3-7 mix) and film (shopping bag) recycling. We produce high quality pellets which can replace virgin plastic up to 100% in the manufacture of plastic bags, tool boxes, piping and other consumer products.Our process diverts over 10,000 tons/year of mixed plastics, and shopping bags from landfills, saving more than 62,000 megawatthour of energy/year. This equals the annual energy consumption of approximately 1700 4-person households.

Plastics Recycling

Plastic recycling saves landfill space, energy and GHG emissions. Using modern technology it is possible to create high quality reprocessed resin, capable of replacing virgin plastic 100%.

Bio-degradable

Bio-degradable plastics are contaminating recyclable materials and lowering the quality of end products.Bio-degradable plastics are generally not compatible with plastic recycling programs. Plastics are highly valuable materials and the environmental benefits are greater when recycled rather than being shipped to landfills or composting facilities.

Municipalities / Recycler

We offer long-term end market relationships to municipalities who supply EFS-plastics. We are a partner in diversion, working with municipalities and their service providers on recovering quality materials with on time pick-up of loads.With many years of experience in plastic recycling in Canada and Germany, we are also able to advise on sorting and diversion concepts to assist municipalities to reach maximum diversion.
