Prince George’s Scrap, or PG Scrap, is part of EMR Smith Industries, LLC, with origins dating back to 1898, which operates one of the oldest and largest scrap processors in the Mid-Atlantic region. Through our state-of-the-art separation systems, we buy, process, and sell ferrous and non-ferrous metals by turning raw scrap into a clean and mill-ready product.We strive to be industry leaders by keeping our facilities clean, safe, and as responsive as possible to our customers’ needs. Our customer base includes the general public, tow companies, salvage yards, construction and demolition companies, large corporations and small businesses, local, county, state, and federal government entities including military facilities.​ With facilities located throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Delaware, we are strategically located to handle the many jobs our customers have throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
