Parkland County

The following items are classified as 'household waste.' As a Parkland County resident, you may dispose of these items at any of the County's transfer stations at NO CHARGE when you present your Solid Waste Disposal Access card and government-issued photo identification:
Bagged household waste
Small furniture
Ashes (cold only)
Appliances
Tires
Recyclables
Grass/leaves (residential only)
*A Health and Safety Fee will be applied to Fridge and Freezer units containing food or waste dropped off at Transfer station sites.
Note: loads of normal household waste and commercial/construction waste will be charged as construction/commercial waste and fees will apply. Transfer Station operators will make the final decision on whether waste is considered normal household waste or commercial/construction waste.
Charges apply to waste brought in by non-residents and businesses, as follows:
Parkland County Transfer Station & Recycle Centre: per tonne fee with a minimum charge
All other locations: per-truck load fee with payment by pre-paid voucher only. Waste disposal vouchers can be purchased at the Parkland County Transfer Station, Parkland County Services Building, Kapasiwin Transfer Station, Tomahawk Public Works Shop, Seba Beach Transfer Station and the Seba Beach Village Office.
