Troje's Trash has worked with Eureka Recycling to change the face of recycling in the Twin Cities. We both believe in zero-waste and we are pushing forward to reshape the way people view waste, with recycling at the front lines. We are proud to provide the best recycling service in the state – this means recycling everything that you place curbside each week. We don't use the single sort method like some of our competitors. With the single sort method, everything is mixed together then compacted, leading to a much higher level of contamination. We use a two stream recycling system making sure each product you've placed curbside is actually recycled to its highest end use in the most environmentally friendly manner.

How to Recycle

Recycling is the process of taking a product at the end of its useful life and using all or part of it again to make another product. The three arrows of the internationally recognized recycling logo are representative of the steps it takes to recycle, from re-manufacture to resale. Two of the most common misconceptions about recycling is that it is too much work and that one person won't make that big of a difference. The truth is, that Troje Trash makes it incredibly easy using our '2 Sort System'.

Hazardous Waste

Hazardous waste is waste that poses immediate or long-term threats to public health or to the environment. Hazardous wastes can be liquids, solids, gases or sludges. It is important to review the labels of items before disposing of them. If the labels contain any of these words: CAUTION, WARNING, DANGER, or POISON, they could potentially contain hazardous materials, which need to be disposed of properly. It is important to remember not to throw them in the garbage or pour them into the sewer, onto the ground or into your septic tank.
