OCM Recycle - Tolleson

OCM Recycle was founded to provide a cost effective, environmentally responsible solution to the problem of ever increasing electronics in our landfills. We recycle obsolete and surplus electronic equipment, and are able to reuse, refurbish, recover and recycle virtually all materials creating a surprisingly low cost solution for our customers.

OCM Recycle West is a woman-owned, small business founded in 2012 by Patty Hannon, and was joined by Kate Hopeman in 2014. OCM Recycle West's Mission:

OCM Recycle West  offers full service recycling, including picking-up the items, inventorying either on-site or on OCM’s site, wiping or destroying all hard drives (if wiped, using Department of Defense approved software protocols), then either dismantling of the electronics, or refurbishing/reselling.  In the dismantling process, components of devices are sorted into various “containers”, including, but not limited to, metal, aluminum, copper, plastic, batteries, and PCBs. Those components are then recycled with outside vendors who specialize in the specific material. This not only keeps these items out of the landfill, but puts them back into use.

Serve our community:
OCM Recycle West serves its community in many ways. OCM won the “Small Business of the Year” award in 2013 from the Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce for its work with the community. We support local charities with donations of computers, we run e-Waste recycling events that benefit specific charities/non-profits, we support local schools, and we offer computers and other electronics for sale locally at very affordable prices. OCM Recycle West is also proud members of the Southwest Valley, Ahwatukee, and Chandler Chambers of Commerce. We participate in many Chamber events and help support and promote many fellow Chamber businesses. Services

• ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT REMOVAL AND PICK UP - OCM Recycle will come to your facility and pick-up your unwanted/unused electronics. All items will be dispositioned and disposed of according to your requirements. We do the heavy lifting!

• ELECTRONICS REFURBISHING AND RECYCLING - OCM Recycle prefers to refurbish and re-sell as many of the electronics devices as possible. Ultimately, this keeps items out of landfills and in use. OCM Recycle will upgrade and repair desktops and laptops and other electronics, recycling them back into businesses, institutions, and into the local community.

• DATA DESTRUCTION AND REPORTING - OCM Recycle will administer a data destruction plan tailored to your specific needs with a letter of destruction upon request. Proprietary information and components will be removed per your specifications.

• PARTS HARVESTING - OCM Recycle reuses and recycles components whenever possible. OCM Recycle will harvest components out of electronic devices which are not re-salable as is, and use these components to upgrade other devices for re-sale.

• ELECTRONICS DESTRUCTION AND RECOVERY OF PLASTICS AND METALS - Should your electronic equipment be non-functional and therefore not a candidate for re-sale, OCM Recycle will guarantee the disposal of the device in an eco-friendly manner. Metals and plastics are recovered and hazardous materials are disposed of properly.
