Carroll Scrap Inc, Carroll Counties’ Premier Scrap Metal Recycling Yard located in Finksburg, MD right on Baltimore Boulevard (Rt 140). We proudly serve Carroll County, Baltimore County, as well as parts of Frederick and Howard Counties.

Carroll Scrap Inc is a division of EMR Smith Industries, a company with origins dating back to 1898, and operates one of the oldest and largest scrap processors in the Mid-Atlantic region. Through our state-of-the-art separation systems, we buy, process, and sell ferrous and non-ferrous metals by turning raw scrap into a clean and mill-ready product.

Our Buyers are highly trained individuals.  They are trained to grade materials quickly and accurately, provide you with up to date pricing based on current markets, and manage all aspects of the customer’s experience to ensure they receive all they are supposed to.  Our buyers serve as the Point of Contact for each of our yards.  They work directly with the customer, going to construction and demo sites to evaluate materials,  and arrange transportation of goods whether that be by roll-off, demo trailer, or flatbeds.  They can assist in developing a plan for preparation of materials to optimize profits, as well as deliver payments so you can concentrate on your business, not running around.  At the end of the day the job of a Buyer is to make the customer’s life easier.

How to get to us

Carroll Scrap Inc is conveniently located at 3234 Baltimore Blvd, Finksburg, MD 21048 on Rt 140 in Finksburg, MD.  With easy access to 795, 695, and 32, our customers all across the area are easily able to get to our yard.  From 795, take 140 W toward Westminster, MD and we are just at the top of the hill coming into Finksburg, MD.  Our full size truck scale allows easy weighing in and out.
