Agri-Plas, Inc
5016 Waconda Rd NE, Brooks, Oregon, United States | Memberships : Association of Oregon Recyclers
A family owned business that specializes in recycling Agricultural Plastic Waste. Located in Oregon's Willamette Valley, Agri-Plas has been collecting, sorting and processing plastic materials at its Brooks facility since 2004. Approximately 12,000,000 pounds of plastic runs through our plant each year.
Working with the ACRC (Ag Container Recycling Council), we collect and process crop protection containers in Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Our expanded services include both mobile grinding and whole container pickup.
By collecting, sorting and processing these materials for recycling, Agri-Plas helps farms, dairies, nurseries, commerical and industrial customers handle their plastic waste in environmentally sustainable ways. Agri-Plas, Inc. helps use less landfill space and provides source material for manufacturers that does not need additional use of scarce hydro-carbons such as oil and natural gas.
Agri-Plas, Inc has grown out of Dari’s passion for preserving the environment. Growing up in the dairy industry in California, Dari knew first hand the tremendous plastic waste generated from agricultural operations.
In 1995, Dari began to realize her dream of cleaning up this wasted resource. Starting with plastic binder twine, she created a work force to clean and process the twine into bales of ground material.
Moving north to Oregon, Agri-Plas started processing agricultural plastic in a rented Salem location, that quickly gave way to the need for a larger facility. In 2004, the company moved to its present location, 5016 Waconda Rd. NE, Brooks, Oregon.
Agri-Plas accepts and recycles approximately 10,000,000 pounds of plastic each year- plastic that otherwise would have gone to the burner, into landfills or been stored at agricultural sites.

has been offering Oregon farms, dairies, nurseries and distributors with crop protection container collection and grinding services for over 10 years. Starting in 2014, we will be expanding our services into Washington and Idaho. Funding for the crop protection container recycling collection and processing program comes from ACRC member companies. Their generosity as well as their commitment to environmental protection and sustainable practices allows us to offer our services for free. The collection and proccessing of Mini-bulk Containers is not part of the ACRC program. However, Agri-Plas believes it is an important service to offer to the Northwest Ag industry. Contact us for collection details.
