Mid-State Solid Waste & Recycling

Mid State Solid Waste & Recycling provides residential and commercial trash and recycling collection to many rural or unincorporated areas of northern San Luis Obispo County, as well as the Templeton Community Services District. We collect both comingled recyclables and green waste throughout our service area.We also offer roll-off boxes (cargo containers), and storage bin rental for a variety of purposes, including large scale green waste collection, construction and demolition cleanup, general cleanup, and storage.

Mid State Solid Waste & Recycling is locally owned and operated by Brad Goodrow and Rodrigo Gutierrez. Brad is a member of the third generation in a family that has earned its living as waste haulers and recyclers here in California. Rodrigo has over thirty years experience in the waste and recycling industry and also supervises a local composting operation.

Mid State Solid Waste Recycling is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining low rates. We are committed to recycling, and collect both commingled recyclables and green waste throughout the areas served. Mid State was the first in the county to provide automated recycling service to all of its rural customers.

Other Services

Green waste and recyclables collected locally are processed right at our Paso Robles / Templeton facility. Green waste materials are then converted to wood chips and compost, which are available for pickup or delivery at our facility.

Because Mid State Solid Waste & Recycling is also a recycling facility, we can easily handle many types of waste products, including green waste, most construction and demolition debris, and more.We have several different roll-off container and bin types and sizes to meet your individual needs, from full size roll off containers, to security storage containers, to dirt boxes, to smaller bins. No project is too big or too small!
