RECYCLING

Did you know that on average Americans only recycle about one tenth of their trash? Recycling is a simple yet effective way for everyone to help out their communities, their environments, and future generations! J & J Sanitation proudly supports our clients' efforts at recycling - and their efforts towards building a brighter, more responsible future!

When we recycle, used materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources. If used materials are not recycled, new products are made by extracting fresh, raw material from the Earth, through mining and forestry. Recycling helps conserve important raw materials and protects natural habitats for the future.

Using recycled materials in the manufacturing process uses considerably less energy than that required for producing new products from raw materials – even when comparing all associated costs including transport etc.Recycling reduces the need for extracting (mining, quarrying and logging), refining, and processing raw materials, all of which create substantial air and water pollution.As recycling saves energy it also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, which helps to tackle climate change. Recycling is estimated to save more than 18 million tons of C02 a year – the equivalent to taking 5 million cars off the road.

SINGLE-STREAM RECYCLING

With Single-Stream Recycling, we provide a 96 gallon recycling container to store all acceptable recyclable items in together! No more sorting recyclables into multiple bins. Instead of having to sort recyclables into separate containers, you just toss them all into one bin. We take care of the sorting at our state-of-the-art facility. With our Single-Stream Recycling Services, we take the hassle out of recycling and make it easy to make a positive impact on our world and our future!
