What can I not recycle?

We offer residential refuse collection service in McKinleyville, Trinidad, Westhaven, Big Lagoon, and Orick. Residential curbside collection between the areas of Mckinleyville and Big Lagoon is done via automated curbside collection. All customers residing in this service area will be issued a wheeled garbage cart in the size of their choosing. In addition you will receive a wheeled 95 gallon recycling cart. Garbage collection occurs weekly and recycling collection is on a bi-weekly schedule.

For those customers residing north of Big Lagoon, automated service is not currently available. Residential refuse service is available weekly for customer provide cans, ranging in size from 20 to 45 gallons. Curbside recycling is not currently offered to customers north of Big Lagoon.Special pickups for bulky items, appliances, and other materials are available for a handling fee. Commercial Refuse Collection Services

We also offer commercial refuse collection service in McKinleyville, Trinidad, Westhaven, Big Lagoon, and Orick. Service is available weekly for containers ranging from 1.5 to 5 cubic yards. 14 to 40 cubic yard debris boxes are also available for long term or short term rental. 

Commercial cardboard collections services are available in the McKinleyville and Trinidad. We provide containers ranging in size from 1.5 to 6 yard. We provide many different pick-up schedules to meet your needs. Service can be provided three times a week, weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis.

Container and Debris Box Rental

We offer rentals ranging in size from 5 cubic yards as well as 14, 18, 20 and 40 cubic yard debris boxes. All sizes are available in McKinleyville and north to Orick. We also provide our larger Clean-up containers, 20yd and 40yd debris boxes for rent in the areas of Eastern Humboldt County; Willow Creek, Hoopa, Orleans, and Weitchepec. Clean-up containers are ideal for construction, remodel jobs, roofing and general clean-up projects. These are a three day rental with nominal fees for any additional days. A rental agreement must be filled out, and the initial payment must be made prior to the delivery of our debris boxes. Rental agreements are available at our office or you can print out an agreement below. Please be sure to select the appropriate rental agreement based on your service area.
