We serve municipalities, businesses and manufacturers up and down the east coast and Canada. Each year we recycle thousands of tons of scrap paper, tin, and plastics throughout North America. History

June 6th, 1988 marks the day that Fox Run Recycling, Inc. was incorporated. Kelby W. Kuney of Seneca Falls, NY had the vision and foresight to start the company.

A warehouse was rented in Clyde, NY in the summer of 1988 to receive material. The first load to be delivered was a trailer load of bundled newspaper from the Village of Seneca Falls.

We grew in the Clyde Warehouse from one small down stroke baler to a American Horizontal automatic baler. We outgrew this facility in the summer of 1990. We then moved our processing facility to one of Mr. Kuneys warehouses in Manchester, NY. This was known as the “Round House” (An old 1900’s vintage locomotive repair facility).

In April of 1992 Fox Run Recycling, Inc. was purchased from Mr. Kuney by its present owners, Craig Reimer and Hank Sandlas. At that time we set up offices in Callicoon, NY and Seneca Falls, NY. A decision was made at that time to phase out our processing plant in Manchester, NY. This was accomplished over a one year period, with all equipment being liquidated. Our business became strictly brokerage. Fox Run Recycling, Inc. remains the same today.

In the fall of 1994 Fox Run Recycling, Inc. and Secaucus Recycling, Inc., long time business partners formed a company in Baltimore, Maryland called, Inner Harbor Recycling, LLC. Our goal is to serve the city of Baltimore and its outlying suburbs with a quality recycling facility. We have since sold this business.

Also, in the spring of 1995 we purchased two Piqua closed door balers. One was placed at our facility in Seneca Falls, NY and the other at a facility in Sullivan County, NY. It looks like we are once again in the processing business.

Over the years Fox Run Recycling, Inc. has worked with many businesses, municipalities and county programs. While doing this we have helped design and consult on many projects. We have just signed a 2 year marketing agreement with Cortland County, Cortland, NY. Some other counties that we have worked with over the years are, Oswego, Chemung, Chenango, Sullivan, Fulton, Schenectady, and the Western Finger Lakes Authority to name a few.

Over the Course of Fox Run Recyclings history we have found our market concentration to be on OCC and ONP. But we do market any kind of recyclable material that is available to us.

During the History of Fox Run Recycling, Inc. we have met many interesting people and made many friends along the way. We cherish those friendships. We also have seen historic market lows and highs. All in all it has been a rather exciting venture.
