In 1984, Atlas Recycling was founded by Michael Allen in Kailua Kona. It is because of you, the customers, that Atlas is what it is today.  With ten locations island wide, we continue to appreciate your support and look forward to what the future has in store.

HI5 FOR KIDS PROGRAM

Offer to donate the money you receive from your HI5 Recyclables to a school or organization of you choice. Your contribution will go a long way in benefitting the children of Hawai'i!We have also arranged several school field trips in the past. Let us know if you are interested in having your students learn more about recycling and we will be happy to organize a field trip for you school.

FUNDRAISING

Atlas Recycling Centers has arranged several Recycling Drives. These are organized fundraisers where a organization collects HI5 donations at a 'drive location.' Atlas provides the canvas bags and the organization fills the bags with the HI5 donations. At the end of the fundraiser, Atlas picks up the donated material from the 'drive location' and transports them to one of our Atlas locations to be sorted through. The organization then gets paid out as a customer for all of the donated recyclables.
