Established in 2009, MMR Metals is an international metal trading company, specializing in high temp alloys, aluminum, titanium, copper, brass, stainless steel and various aerospace alloys.
After being in the manufacturing and scrap metal recycling industries, both in Arizona and California for over thirty years, Michael Manning, owner of MMR Metals, saw a need for a quality metal recycling company to service the Arizona manufacturers. MMR Metals is affiliated with various international trading companies, including Vi-Cal Metals, Monico Alloys, and G. Harris International. Combined with our affiliate companies we account for more than $250 million of international metal trading each year. It is MMR's strategic partnership with these industry leaders that allows us to offer highly competitive pricing while maintaining the high standards of service associated with a local company.

Benefits of Recycling
There are numerous environmental benefits of recycling scrap metals including natural resource conservation, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and cleaner air and water. The amount of energy saved in 2009 by using recycled materials versus virgin ore was 92% for aluminum, 90% for copper, and 56% for steel. Additionally, recycling one ton of aluminum conserves 8 tons of bauxite ore and 14 megawatt hours of electricity. Recycling one ton of steel conserves 2500 pounds of iron ore, 1400 pounds of iron coal and 120 pounds of limestone.
