Established in 2009, MMR Metals is an international metal trading company, specializing in high temp alloys, aluminum, titanium, copper, brass, stainless steel and various aerospace alloys.

After being in the manufacturing and scrap metal recycling industries, both in Arizona and California for over thirty years, Michael Manning, owner of MMR Metals, saw a need for a quality metal recycling company to service the Arizona manufacturers. Recycling

MMR Metals is proud to be a member of the recycling industry which has been an integral part of the U.S. economy, global marketplace, and resource sustainability for more than 200 years.  Scrap recycling is considered the first link in the manufacturing supply chain as currently recycled scrap metals account for 40% of the world's raw material needs.  MMR is committed to this longstanding tradition and works today to preserve our tomorrow.

Benefits of Recycling

There are numerous environmental benefits of recycling scrap metals including natural resource conservation, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and cleaner air and water.  The amount of energy saved in 2009 by using recycled materials versus virgin ore was 92% for aluminum, 90% for copper, and 56% for steel.  Additionally, recycling one ton of aluminum conserves 8 tons of bauxite ore and 14 megawatt hours of electricity.  Recycling one ton of steel conserves 2500 pounds of iron ore, 1400 pounds of iron coal and 120 pounds of limestone.

In addition to the overwhelming environmental benefits, recycling has a direct and immediate benefit for you...Money.  By recycling your scrap metals you are helping preserve the environment and supporting the national and global economy while improving your bottom line.

At MMR Metals, our commitment to the health and safety of our employees, and the preservation of the environment is more than an ideal, it is a working philosophy.  Each business decision is tested against this policy to ensure that all business activities are in line with our policy.
