Seattle Iron & Metals is a full-service metals recycler.Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Stainless Steel, Ni-Alloys, E-Scrap and other Non-Ferrous metals as well as Auto Bodies, Appliances, Iron, Steel and Tin are processed, sorted, and packaged for easy handling by our Consumers.

Seattle Iron & Metals supplies various grades of scrap aluminum worldwide. Our suppliers include the entire Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Canada. Mixed metals are sorted and processed into uniform sizes and grades of recycled materials.

Ferrous / Iron & Steel

Seattle Iron & Metals Corp. has the capacity and capabilities to unload and load virtually any size and shape of cargo. From automobiles to refrigerators, old washing machines to ship plate and bridge tresses, scaffolding to sheet iron, you name it we buy it.

Whether your scrap iron needs are shredding, shearing or torch cutting, nothing is too large for us to process. Our shipping area reaches both domestic and international customers. Located on the Duwamish Waterway of Seattle, we can receive barges and containers locally as well as from Alaska and Canada.

• Committed to protecting the environment, our facility is built on 9.5 acres of impermeable layer of 10' thick concrete protection.

• Our on-site water treatment plant where storm water is collected and processed rendered environmentally safe prior to discharge.

• We have a comprehensive list of materials that are accepted and materials that are not accepted at Seattle Iron and Metal Corp. Here are some examples listed, please know that this is not a complete list and other items not included may also be inappropriate for recycling as scrap metal.

• Under the Clean Air Act Regulations 608 (b) (1) and 608 (c) prohibit any release of refrigerants into the atmosphere and require specially trained personnel to handle the capture and disposal of these gasses by a set procedure.

• We require our customers to sign a statement certifying that any materials required by 40 CFR 61.150 and TSCA 40 CFR 258 & 261 have been properly processed prior to recycling.
