F & F Recycling
3710 W. Jones , Garden City, Kansas, United States | Memberships : ISRI
In the late 1970’s Von Fahrenbruch dabbled with scrap iron and metals that were purchased at farm sales and from repair shops to earn extra income. A fascination with “making a deal” was sparked, and the business slowly increased. In the summer of 1982 Von and his father Don were able to lease a vacant property in Norton Kansas that allowed rail access to load steel scrap, and F&F Iron & Metal Co. came to be.
F&F Iron & Metal Co. expanded into the Garden City area in the fall of 2004. Over the years that location expanded with equipment investments and remodeled and constructed buildings including our new 15,000 sq ft non-ferrous warehouse. Kiel Fahrenbruch joined the family business full time in 2005 with general manager duties.
From a humble beginning to today’s state of the art recycling facilities with the latest technology to accurately pay our customers and abide with all applicable scrap metal laws, we are positioned to provide responsible recycling services for many years to come. We have expanded to include paper, cardboard, plastics, and electronics to our traditional ferrous and non-ferrous metal processing, and anticipate expanding into other locations.
