Blue Ridge Disposal and Recycling, Inc

Blue Ridge Disposal and Recycling (BRDR) is a locally owned and operated business, which was founded by Paul and John Curtis in 1991. This company offers Commercial and Industrial  recycling services throughout the New River Valley. 

We service the New River Valley in Commercial and Industrial recycling. We have a large Multipurpose Recycling Facility, purchasing scrap metals of all types and sizes. Selling scrap metals at our location is easy, just pull into our lot and our staff will unload and sort your materials. The materials are weighed, and the customer is paid the appropriate price per weight. All scales at Blue Ridge Disposal & Recycling are certified by the Virginia Department of Weights & Measures. Scales are calibrated and maintained by American Scale Company, Inc. of Charlotte, NC.

Our facilities

BRDR has a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) licensed through the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ).  Our office and facilities are located near Christiansburg High School on Scattergood Drive.
