Waste Pro is a full service company offering complete solid waste and recycling services throughout Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

Residential Services

Residential Trash Services and Recycling Services are provided to individual residences on a scheduled basis. These services may include a combination of garbage, yard waste, recycling and bulky wastes (furniture, appliances etc.). Usually garbage is done either once or twice per week with the other services provided weekly.

Roll of Dumpster Services

Dumpster rentals are provided using large containers that are delivered and then at a later date are picked up to be emptied. The dumpsters for rent range in size from 15 to 40 cubic yards and are usually provided by Waste Pro. Construction and demolition customers use open top containers that are emptied on an on-call basis. Permanent commercial customers use either open top containers or closed compactor containers and they are serviced on either an on-call or a scheduled basis.

Recycling Services

Waste Pro offers recycling services to both residential and commercial customers. Residential customers are usually offered curbside recycling as part of the residential services available to them. Items recycled typically include aluminum, steel, plastic and glass containers as well as newspapers. Commercial recycling is offered for both front load and roll off commercial customers and usually consists of corrugated cardboard. Other materials can be recycled for both commercial and residential customers depending upon the availability of processing facilities to deliver the materials to.

Commercial Services

Waste Collection services are provided on a scheduled basis from one to seven days per week. The commercial customer is provided with a container (dumpster) by Waste Pro. The containers range in size from 2 to 8 cubic yards.

Waste Pro leases, sells and services compaction equipment or will service customer owned compaction equipment. There are 2 basic types, either roll off or front load compactors. Front load compactors range in size from 2 to 6 cubic yards and are collected by a front load truck that runs a route dumping numerous front load containers each day. Roll off compactors range in size from 15 to 40 cubic yards with the compaction unit sometimes being built in to the container.

Transfer stations are facilities where solid wastes can be delivered and stored for further future transportation to a landfill. They are government approved and regulated facilities. Landfills are the final disposal site for solid wastes and as with transfer stations are government approved and regulated facilities. Strict environmental controls and rules are in place for both transfer stations and landfills.

Waste Pro is committed to the concept of 'Going Green' and is undertaken numerous steps to accomplish this.

• Waste Pro was the first waste collection company to acquire 2 of the new International Trucks hybrid clamshell collection trucks. They are now in service in the Sarasota / Bradenton area.
• Waste Pro is continually expanding its CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) fleet and fueling station offerings throughout its footprint.
• Waste Pro's new Mack Trucks have a 'Regenerative' system installed that reduces exhaust emissions and is ahead of the schedule for EPA requirements.
• Waste Pro acquired American Recycling in Atlanta and Birmingham to extensively ramp up its efforts to recycle more waste and thus not send it to a landfill. This has already resulted in a contract for all of the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport.
• Waste Pro has initiated internal recycling programs for all of its own facilities.
• Waste Pro goes to the additional cost and effort to place anti-wear armoring around all of its hydraulic hoses thereby virtually eliminating hydraulic spills into the environment.
• Waste Pro is the first garbage companies to power a regional headquarters building through solar energy.
