We offer controlled chemistry, cleaned and dried punchings, plate, bar and ingots in a wide range of ferrous alloys prepared specifically for discriminating consumers. PRODUCTS

We always maintain an ample inventory of materials for just-in-time deliveries to your facility. Once we establish a schedule of your needs, we can maintain an inventory of material specifically for you. This can assure you of the availability of material and the timeliness of deliveries to your facility.The newest technology available in cleaning and pollution control allows us to wash and dry our product, rendering it free from all contaminants. Our process is clean and environmentally ready.

There are many benefits to melting cleaned and dried material. Less slag, smoke, porosity, variability and inclusions occur during the melting process. Clean material eliminates unwanted tramp pick-up from cutting oils and fluids as well as spitting from trapped moisture. Improved density and simpler handling greatly increase efficiency by allowing for faster furnace charging and tap times plus reducing the space required to store your raw materials.

U-Metco Inc. owns and operates its own in-house laboratory, our lab contains two spectrographs and tests several thousand samples each month. We are pleased to offer prompt and accurate testing services to our customers at their convenience.

3. SCRAP PURCHASING

U-Metco Inc. has a long track record of returning maximum value to foundries who choose to resell any type of home-generated scrap metal.

4. SCRAP TOLLING

U-Metco Inc. can easily arrange to have foundry home-generated scrap melted and returned to you as heat-certified ingot.

5. SCRAP BROKERAGE

In certain areas, U-Metco Inc. can arrange a brokerage supply of raw materials in order to help reduce your costs and improve product quality.

6. WAREHOUSING

You may choose to have U-Metco Inc. arrange local warehousing for you. This arrangement will not only ensure immediate and local availability, it will also allow you to take advantage of price reductions for freight and material on full truckload shipments.
