A horse, a buggy and a dream; those were the humble beginnings of David Hirschberg Co, back in 1913. Even then, people were mindful that metal was reusable, and that made it worth money. Fast forward to the next century, and that hasn't changed a bit. Neither has our commitment to prompt, courteous service, and giving you the best prices on the market for your recyclable metals. The David Hirschberg Company was established in 1913, when steel and scrap metals were transported by horse-drawn buggy. Founded by brothers David & Lester Hirschberg, the company remained a family business until Irvin, son of David Hirschberg passed in 2009. The company was transferred to long time business partners of the family, James Rolman & Jon Graham and with the passing of James Rolman now belongs to Jon Graham. The company originally operated as a retailer and recycler of iron, scrap, paper products, and rubber.
