Commom Materials We Accept

Ferrous metals: steel, iron. Non-ferrous metals: aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, lead. Household Appliances: refrigerators*, freezers*, air conditioners*, dishwashers, clothes washers & dryers, stoves, etc. Electronics: computer towers, computer components, circuit boards, cell phones, rechargeable batteries, A/C adapters, Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) monitors and TVs.† Batteries.† Automobiles. Catalytic converters.

 Compressors must be removed prior to arrival. Do not attempt to remove refrigerant or compressors yourself, please see a licensed HVAC professional. We will recycle the compressor, but the refrigerant must be removed before entering our facility.

Commom Materials We Do Not Accept

Dirt, debris, or trash of any kind. Paper, plastic, or glass. Free-flowing liquids: gas, oil, paint propane, water, etc. Certain public property items: fire hydrants, street signs, manhole covers, etc. Closed containers under pressure*: propane/gas cylinders, fire extinguishers, aerosol cans, beverage kegs, etc. Hazardous, toxic or radioactive materials of any kind. PCB-containing materials. Steel drums without certification of cleaning. Ammunition/Ordnance scrap. Vacuum cleaners. Torque converters. Burnt wire. Mercury switches.These containers can only be accepted if stems are removed and opened (punctured, drilled, cut) so that containers are no longer pressurized and verifiably empty.
