Lynch Recycling has experienced steady and continuous growth since it opened as a one-man catalytic converter recycling operation in 1999. The low debt & carefully planned expansion has enabled Lynch Recycling to survive and even thrive in spite of the inevitable market fluctuations and occasional recession that has wreaked havoc on much of the industry. As a result, our suppliers & customers have to come to trust that we will continue to meet their unique needs.
The autocatlyst sector of the PGM recycling industry has underwent extensive change over the last decade, and Lynch Recycling has not only adapted to the rapidly evolving environment, but has taken steps to be at the forefront. Lynch Recycling has invested heavily in research, both in precious metals and in the areas of process and best practices. This enables them to be free from the inefficiency of relying on outside sources for current and accurate information.
Services
With the rapidly changing landscape of auto catlayst recycling comes the need for evolving business models in order to better serve the numerous resellers who are exposed to costly errors on both ends of their business through unexpected market shifts , grade changes, etc. To that end, Lynch Recycling offers several top shelf services to these resellers, including access to a constantly updated converterdatabase, and the option to extract maximum value from their converters by selling on Assay Recovery.
Lynch Recycling is also proud to offer the following premium services to our top level suppliers:
- catalyst material assay
- wheel/battery brokering
- converter buyer's guide
- remote pick-up service
The average converter reseller spends several hours per week simply waiting for his cats to be checked in, meaning that over a month of each year is wasted! Imagine if you had an additional month to generate revenue for your busuness next year... would your profit increase? Of course. Well, now you can do just that;Simpy drop your converters off at our facility, and you’re done. That’s it. Your shipment will be placed in its own containters, clearly marked and quarantined for decanning.
Your converters will then be decanned on one of our hydraulic shears. The material is captured during this process into bulk polyproylene fabric bags capable of holding 2,000 lbs of catalyst material without the hazard of material loss through breakage or leakage assoiciated with boxes. The resulting dust from this process iis carefully containted and captured with high powered industrial vacum systems, and is added back to your material when decanning is completed
Remotepick-upservice
There may be times when it is impractical or even impossible for you to transport your goods to our facility yourself. In such circumstances, we will come to you! Lynch Recylcing has an entire fleet of trucks, ranging from pick-up to semi tractor and trailers. Our entire fleet is maintained via DOT specifications and are operated by class A CDL licensed drivers who are also trained and experienced satelite buyers.
