Novamet produces several nickel powder products in different shapes and sizes to meet unique customer needs.  Novamet utilizes screening and air classifying techniques to create the specific fraction our customers require.

Novamet has over thirty years of creating nickel, stainless steel and zinc flaked particles.  Existing products can be modified or new products can be created to meet customer demands. 

Novamet also produces Silver coated Nickel spheres as well as Nickel coated Graphite particles.  Need another substrate coated?  Give us a call and see what we can do!

Novamet was first opened in 1976 in Sterling Forest, N.Y., was located in Wyckoff, N.J. from 1980 to June of 2014. Novamet’s 100,000 square foot manufacturing operation is now located in its new facility 20 minutes east of Nashville, in Lebanon, TN.

Novamet Specialty Products produces more than 60 different products including tightly sized nickel powder, metallic flake, coated materials and specialty nickel oxides. Novamet specializes in small volumes and custom products. Using its screening, blending and classification capabilities, the plant makes precision-engineered products to the most exacting specifications.

Novamet products are used in a variety of industries and applications. Metallic flake pigments of nickel, zinc and stainless steel are supplied for decorative, conductive and corrosion-resistant coating applications. Nickel coated graphite is used by conductive gasket producers for shielding applications. Tightly sized spherical nickel powders are widely used in the electronics and metal injection molding industries. Meanwhile, specialty nickel oxides find important applications in the automotive catalyst and fuel cell markets.

Novamet also repackages and blends powders to both Novamet standard and customer-specific size, morphology, container and weight requirements.

Novamet sells a variety of metal powders and is the sole direct distributor representing Vale for sales of its 123 and 255 nickel powders in North America.
